Choose Scape Park if
You want to swim: the Hoyo Azul cenote, a cave pool and waterfall pools are the heart of the day, and you can repeat the ziplines as often as you like. One guest who visited both wrote that Scape Park kept them busy until closing, while Bavaro let them do each activity once. Book the full-day admission with transport and budget for lunch.
Choose Bavaro if
You want to drive a buggy and like a set programme with lunch included. The buggy, zipline and waterfall combo ($139) covers the essentials, and the park also sells a bigger package with more activities. Bring a bandana and goggles for the dust.
