Which shoes are best?

Closed-toe water shoes with a grippy sole: the park recommends closed shoes with non-slip soles, and guests' most repeated tip is comfortable water shoes.

The trails are uneven, there are plenty of stairs, and you will walk on wet rock at the cenote and the cave pool. Sandals come off in the water and slip on the steps.
